In May, the ONC asked health IT stakeholders what interoperability should look like in 2030. The agency received more than 700 responses during the public comment period, Deputy National Coordinator Steve Posnack wrote in a Nov. 15 blog post.

The ONC then examined those responses for common themes and generated combined statements representing outcomes health systems would like to see employed by 2030. Here are four of those outcomes:
