The chief executive officer of large Obamacare insurer Centene predicted the Supreme Court won’t overturn the Affordable Care Act and toss millions of Americans onto “the streets with no insurance.”

With the U.S. Senate this week confirming conservative Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court in what would cement a conservative majority, supporters of the ACA including Democrats worry the signature legislative achievement of former president Barack Obama could be in jeopardy.

But Centene chairman and chief executive Michael Neidorff said Tuesday he remains “relatively confident” the newly configured Supreme Court won’t overturn the law.
