Americans do not trust any healthcare stakeholders aside from nurses to improve the U.S. healthcare system, according to a survey conducted by The New York Times, the Commonwealth Fund and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

The survey focused on understanding how supporters of various healthcare proposals feel about the healthcare system. The survey polled 2,005 adults and divided respondents into groups based on their support for one of three general healthcare proposals — “Medicare for All,” incremental ACA improvement, and congressional Republicans’ plan to give power back to the states.
