Findings From eHealth Initiative Foundation’s Annual Survey Show Majority of HIEs Are Experiencing Increasing Payer Demand for Access to Clinical Data

Today eHealth Initiative (eHI) Foundation released the results of its annual survey on the status of health information exchange. The report, 2019 Survey on HIE Technology Priorities, supported by Orion Health, uncovers a number of key trends such as the importance of value-based care in decision-making, the increasing demand for integration of clinical and claims data, and the growing participation of payers.
