WASHINGTON, D.C. –Matt Eyles, president and CEO of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), released this statement on new guidance issued today from the Treasury Department around the Chronic Disease Management Act. The policy change would expand the definition of preventive care, allowing health insurance providers to design coverage that better meets the needs of those living with chronic health conditions:
