UC San Francisco (UCSF) is launching the Center for Intelligent Imaging, which will advance the application of artificial intelligence tools in medical imaging.

The Center for Intelligent Imaging, or ci2, will aim to develop artificial intelligence tools to evaluate health and disease. Researchers at the center will partner with NVIDIA Corp., a company based in Santa Clara, to build infrastructure and tools to further incorporate AI into clinical practice.

Through the new Center, UCSF will collaborate with industry leaders to bring medical imaging AI into healthcare organizations.
