A new partnership between Amazon and First Databank will let users ask Alexa for basic information about the most commonly prescribed drugs.

Users can now ask Amazon questions about common prescriptions. The new feature, added through a partnership between Amazon and First Databank, will let them ask Alexa for basic information about the most 1,500 most commonly prescribed drugs in the U.S.

First Databank (FDB) has a large database of drug information, including interactions and prices for both prescription and over-the-counter medications. The company primarily sells its solutions to healthcare providers, but with the new Alexa feature, consumers will have access to some of that information.
