As I looked over the agenda for the CHIME Spring Forum (still all virtual), the session that popped out to me was a panel of the CEOs of the top 3 hospital and health system EHR:
- Howard Messing, CEO at MEDITECH
- Judy Faulkner, Founder & CEO at Epic
- Brent Shafer, Chairman and CEO at Cerner
Unfortunately, Brent Shafer from Cerner had a family issue and so Donald Trigg, President at Cerner, stepped in for him. Not surprisingly, the moderator didn’t ask many hard or controversial questions, but the various EHR leaders did share some interesting insights and perspectives. I found their comments on what topics they were watching useful and they offered some good leadership advice.
