Medicare Part B premiums will be $174.70 per month in 2024 and the annual deductible will be $240, CMS shared.

Monthly Medicare Part B premiums will increase by nearly $10 in 2024 due to a projected increase in healthcare spending, CMS announced.

Medicare Part B covers physician services, outpatient hospital services, some home health services, durable medical equipment, and certain medical services that Medicare Part A does not cover.

The agency shared that Medicare Part B premiums will increase by $9.80 or almost 6 percent per month. The monthly premium is rising from $164.90 in 2023 to $174.70 in 2024. The annual deductible will also be higher, increasing $14 from $226 in 2023 to $240 in 2024.
