HCA Healthcare and Johnson & Johnson Tuesday said they will collaborate “on improving health equity, enhancing nursing support, and improving patient outcomes.”

The partnership between a major hospital operator and maker of medical products comes as the industry looks to address health equity through a variety of forms and models. Initially, the partnership’s efforts will work on various programs to educate nurses by incorporating Johnson & Johnson’s nursing resources within HCA Healthcare and its affiliate Galen College of Nursing.
