My blog is not devoted to the practice of medicine or the diagnosis or management of illness. Typically, it focuses on the “politics” of medicine. Many of my posts point out the illogical and silly events that have now become part of our routine. My blog also spends a great deal of time celebrating the magical qualities of medicine in patient care, education, and research.
In general, I have not dwelled on healthcare policy. The delivery of healthcare is incredibly complex, and it is not possible to discuss even a small aspect of it with any thoroughness or balance, especially when there are word limits.
