One-quarter of healthcare professionals said that healthcare industry consolidation is the most important trend in 2019, putting it first in a survey of more than 1,000 healthcare leaders by Definitive Healthcare.

In 2018, Definitive Healthcare tracked 803 mergers and acquisitions and 858 affiliation and partnership announcements. This trend is expected to accelerate this year.
