The FDA proposed a new, one-page medication guide outline for prescription drugs and biologics to ensure a “consistent and easy-to-understand format” for patients, the agency said May 30.

The drafted medication guide, called “Patient Medication Information,” will work to solve current issues, such as “confusing, conflicting, incomplete or repetitive” drug information handed to patients, the FDA said.
