Employee wellness is getting a new meaning, as workplaces across the country revamp their healthcare benefits to not only promote healthy lifestyle, but also to bring healthcare into the office using workplace clinics.

Earlier this month, Seattle-based tech giant Amazon unveiled its newest employee perk, Amazon Care. The program will create virtual care offerings for employees, as well as offer home or workplace visits from medical professionals. The program also includes prescription delivery.

Amazon employees and dependents over age 18 and who are already enrolled in the Amazon health insurance plan can access treatment for urgent issues such as colds, allergies, infections, or minor injuries.
