Cybersecurity and collaboration need to be at the core of all patient safety discussions, centered around the risk connected medical devices pose to patient care and the healthcare ecosystem, according to Booz Allen Hamilton and the eHealth Initiative Foundation.

Released Monday, the collaborative Securing Medical Connected Medical Devices report is designed to fuel the discussion around the connected medical device ecosystem. For Booz Allen and eHI, it’s a “critical moment” for medical device security, and all industry stakeholders must come together to secure the connected healthcare environment.
