CMS has updated its tool that identifies eligible clinicians who qualify for alternative payment model participation for Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act’s Quality Payment Program, according to the American Hospital Association.

The quality payment program has two pathways for eligible clinician participation: the Merit-based Incentive Payment System, or MIPS, and the Advanced Alternative Payment Model, or Advanced APM.
