There is an undeniable stigma associated with government healthcare delivery that conjures images of long lines, lackluster treatment and protracted wait periods. However, Executive Director of the Digital Service at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Andrea Fletcher wants to set the record straight. She believes the U.S. government’s systems for arranging and providing health services are under-appreciated and misunderstood.

“The government is incredibly efficient at delivering healthcare. We’re really good at doing the work, and not so great at talking about how good we are at it,” Fletcher told GovCon Wire in an exclusive statement.
