More than 2.4 million people selected a 2022 health plan through the federal Marketplace platform Nov. 1-20, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced last week. More than eight in 10 enrollees were renewing coverage and the rest were new consumers. The American Rescue Plan Act provides enhanced financial assistance, which can reduce premiums for new and returning customers.
