Broadstep Behavioral Health has had a busy 2021, acquiring regional care providers and expanding its multi-state reach. As the year enters the home stretch, the company is showing no signs of slowing down, as it has struck a deal to buy another provider.

The Raleigh, North Carolina-based Broadstep — which serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disorders (I/DD), mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders — has announced the purchase of Shallotte, North Carolina-based Coastal Southeastern United Care (CSEUC).

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Established in 2010, CSEUC provides behavioral health services and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment to adults, adolescents and children to ten counties in North Carolina, as well as Dillon County in South Carolina. CSEUC provides individual,...
