Amazon continues to expand its reach into the $3 trillion healthcare industry as new job postings indicate where the company potentially plans to grow.

CNBC reported that Amazon is seeking business development managers to “build and grow relationships with commercial and public sector enterprises” for Amazon Care, its telemedicine service currently only available to employees in Washington state.

The postings indicate possible interest in expanding Amazon Care beyond employees. Amazon launched Amazon Care in September 2019. Virtual healthcare is on the rise as people look for medical advice without going to a physical doctor’s office during the pandemic.

Other recent postings include a business development manager who will “define and execute a strategy for acquiring and managing provider networks.
