The new network will provide healthcare systems with quality and safety improvement efforts to advance health equity.

The American Medical Association (AMA), in partnership with Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Joint Commission, launched a learning network committed to helping hospital systems apply health equity to their quality and safety practices.

The Advancing Equity through Quality and Safety Peer Network will equip participating health systems with the proper tools and knowledge needed to advance racial justice and equity.

By leveraging the quality and safety (Q&S) practices offered, health systems will be able to properly address and resolve health inequities impacting their patients, staff, and communities.
