New research released today from OnePoll and connectRN illustrates just how harmful those resignations—and the staffing shortages they cause—can be.
In a survey conducted with 1,000 U.S.-based nurses, nearly two-thirds (65%) said that insufficient staffing is one of the biggest frustrations they have with the nursing industry. Sixty percent of nurses blame staffing shortages for why they don’t feel they have control over their careers.
