Current predictive analytics use is at a 13-point increase from 2018, when just 47 percent of organizations reported using these tools.

Sixty percent of healthcare executives are using predictive analytics within their organizations, according to a recent survey from the Society of Actuaries (SOA), and 20 percent of payers and providers plan to begin using predictive analytics within the next year.

Sixty percent of payers and providers expect to dedicate 15 percent or more of their spending to predictive analytics in 2019, and nearly two-thirds of executives anticipate that predictive analytics tools will cut organizational costs by 15 percent or more over the next five years.
