HCA Healthcare and Tenet Healthcare, two of the nation’s largest for-profit health systems, are reshaping their financial leadership with a wave of recent CFO appointments.
Here are 25 CFO moves at HCA and Tenet hospitals this year:
Tenet Healthcare (Dallas)
1. Romaine Layne was named CFO of West Palm Beach, Fla.-based St. Mary’s Medical Center and Palm Beach Children’s Hospital.
2. Jeffrey Thomas was appointed CFO of Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Mass., and Tenet’s Massachusetts market.
3. Detroit Medical Center named Tara Vafadari group CFO.
4. Fountain Valley (Calif.) Regional Hospital named Richard “Rick” Wang CFO.
5. Palm Beach, Fla.-based Palm Beach Health Network promoted Lukas Iwanski to group assistant CFO.
